During our 25+2 year anniversary reception we opened an exhibition by the well known Amsterdam artist Marc Amsterdam. He showed new fetish related artwork as well as some older work.
He will have a huge exhibition in Amsterdam again this time in Hotel Arena.
From 15 October, the special exhibition featuring various artworks from the Cunst series will be on display until November 15 at Hotel Arena.

Be surprised by the diverse perspectives offered by this series, from familiar images of typical Dutch Delft blue tiles to beautiful color variations in white. In the Cunst series, as in all Marc Amsterdam’s other series, the play of light and shadow is always central.
The “Cunst” series has a clear theme: cocaine and drugs. The works testify to the observation that there is a lot of drug use in the world and is meant to provoke thought.
By placing the used wrappers on canvas in an aesthetic way, an attractive image is created. After some reasoning by the viewer, more associations come to the drama and story behind each part of the work.
