Expo Anton de Bruin & Rik van Loenhout at Black Body

We are very happy and proud to announce that Fetish Photographers Anton de Bruin & Rik van Loenhout will have a exhibition of their works at the Black Body Amsterdam store as part of the world Pride Art Route. The Pride Art Route will take place from July 3 to August 9 but the expo at our store will continue until October 31.

The official opening with reception of his exhibition will take place at our store on Friday July 10 from 18.00 to 20.30 hours. Everybody is welcome for a drink and to take a look at the works. The works will be displayed until the end of October and are all for sale.

Anton de Bruin:
Fetish isn’t something to hide away. It’s something to embrace. To celebrate. To be proud of.
With his exhibition FETISH = PRIDE, photographer Anton sends a clear message: fetish is part of Pride. Not on the fringes, not in the shadows, but right in the spotlight. Fetish knows no labels. No boundaries that dictate who you can be or what you can feel. Nor is there any distinction based on skin color, gender, sexual orientation, or background.
Only the freedom to be who you are without shame. Fetish is intended for adults*, as a space for conscious expression, consent, and self-discovery.
This series invites you to see things differently. To look beyond prejudices. And to feel that expression, desire, and identity don’t fit into boxes. Fetish is diverse. Fetish is human. Fetish is pride. FETISH = PRIDE

Rik van Loenhout:
Rik enjoys putting a subject (a person or theme) in the spotlight. For him, it’s a creative outlet that continues to challenge him.

Rik originally started out in nature photography and later branched out into portraits and event photography. He prefers to take portraits with a kinky edge. What Rik particularly enjoys about creating kinky portraits is crafting scenes that stimulate the imagination. Scenes that leave the viewer plenty to fantasize about or in which they can recognize themselves. As a former dog trainer, Rik knows a few tricks for keeping unruly pups in line…

It challenges Rik to bring these skills and preferences together in his photos. Often with the help of his faithful Huppy (Husband & pUPPY), who regularly -whether voluntarily or not- serves as the subject of a scene. That’s why Rik has chosen “Kink & Proud” as the theme for his exhibition, with some healthy bites as a special treat.
